2006-07 EPL Season Review

The Awesome

Manchester United :
Quite easily the best team of the season. Though Chelscum manager, Jose Moaninho refuses to admit it ...anyone who actually watched the season wouldn't dispute that Man U played the best football and deserved to win.

Reading: They put in a brilliant show. Just out of league 1 and already making waves in the premiership. Their spirit was incredible. Their game was very entertaining . All the players played their hearts out and were rewarded with a great show above many clubs with much bigger name players.

The Good:

Arsenal:
You may be surprised to hear this from a Man U fan , but I know good football when I see it. Arsenal played very good football....all the one touch passing ...the one-twos ...and the all the inexperienced youngsters playing like pros ...very good positive attacking entertaining football.

Tottenham Hotspur: Started off on the wrong foot but once they started playing well they really got it on. They climbed to fifth and could probably blame their bad start to miss out on Europe.

The bad:

Aston Villa
: Martin O'Niel came in with a bang...made a big impression and then fizzled out. They had a good team and had quite a dissapointing season. Also some dealings in the transfer market were quite bad (eg. Baros to Lyon)

Fulham:Probabaly a top 6 team on paper. They grossly underachieved
. Very bad show.

The Ugly:

Newcastle United: Arguably the most underachieving team of the
year. One would expect Newcastle , with their quality, to challenge for Europe and not be fighting to get into the top half of the table.

The Very Ugly:

The Tevez- Mascherano
deal: Really one of the ugliest things of the year. First they go to a club...then they dont play...then the Mascherano transfer is contested...and then Tevez plays ...and then they find out he's unregistered.
A very very badly managed deal.

The Very Very Ugly:

Return of the Spanish Archer:
This year unfortunately saw plenty of El-Bow ,the Spanish Archer, as he threw himself at anything and everything destroying the spirit and reducing beautiful game into a street fight.

The Very Very Very Ugly:

Ben Thatcher:
This could have been inthe above category but it was way to ugly even for the Spanish Archer. That tackle or rather attack was unbelievable...it was nothing short of criminal.

Normally I hate the British Tabloids but I really agree with them they call him Ben 'Thug'cher

The Oh My God!!! I cant even describe how Ugly it is:

Liverfool and Chelscum:
They played like crap...their game plan was pathetic..if you can call " bore your oppenents to sleep and score " a game plan.

Both of them Grossly overachieved
....I would seriously much rather play Arsenal 6 times next season and compete neck and neck with them than go though the torture and extreme boredom of watching these two bullshit teams bore us to death.

Great Football is where you outplay your opponent whereas Chelscum and Liverfool both stop you from playing..rather than playing themselves.
